May is a tough month
I used to like the month of May. Spring flowers. The promise of summer. Vacations. When I was younger, looking forward to the end of the school year.
May is still a beautiful month but it's bittersweet for me now.
May is the anniversary of John's passing and that day colors everything I do and think for the entirety of the month.
I never thought we would have to say good-bye. I didn't think our journey together on this Earth would end so soon.
I miss you, John. ♥
